#4730. Elegant Art Nouveau: Turquoise Gate and Stone Facade of an Art Nouveau Building

The image showcases an exquisite example of Art Nouveau architecture. We are looking at the entrance portal of residential building number 22, presumably located in France or Belgium. The facade is made of light-colored stone with the fluid plasticity of forms characteristic of the Art Nouveau style.

Particularly noteworthy is the arched entrance with its semi-circular completion and decorative elements above. Four square panels with turquoise geometric ornaments are positioned above the arch, creating a rhythmic frieze. The arch itself has smooth, flowing contours typical of Art Nouveau.

The most expressive element of the composition is the turquoise metal gate with an asymmetrical openwork pattern. The gate's design embodies the core principles of Art Nouveau: curved lines, botanical motifs, and a combination of functionality and decorative aesthetics. The metal is processed using techniques that highlight the craftsmanship of early 20th century ironwork.

Behind the gate, a wooden door portal in brown with arched elements and glass inserts is visible. The contrast between the turquoise metal and warm wood gives the entrance group special expressiveness. Elements of balconies with metal railings are also visible on the facade, maintaining the building's overall stylistic coherence.

A plaque to the right of the entrance presumably indicates the architect's name or the historical significance of the building, emphasizing its cultural value and status as an architectural monument.

We design facades of country houses.
