#4380. Islamic Stained Glass Mihrab in Stone Facade

This is a magnificent example of a decorative architectural element, featuring a stained glass window in the form of a mihrab (prayer niche) integrated into stonework. The window is executed in Islamic traditions with a rich color palette. The upper part has a characteristic arched shape, adorned with a deep blue background with golden stars, creating an image of the night sky.

The central part of the stained glass is designed as a geometric pattern with a green star at its center, from which rays of different shades emanate. The lower part of the window is made of glass elements in rich blue tones of varying intensity, creating an effect of gradual transition.

The stained glass is harmoniously integrated into a facade of natural stone in sandy hues. Below the window, there is a decorative tile with an ornament and, presumably, the name of the place. The entire composition represents an excellent example of the synthesis of Islamic architectural traditions with stained glass techniques characteristic of many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cultures.
