Mosaic Facade Decoration "Porcelain Vase": A Fusion of Ceramic Art and Architecture

#4336. Mosaic Facade Decoration "Porcelain Vase": A Fusion of Ceramic Art and Architecture

This artistic installation represents a remarkable example of architectural decoration created using mosaic techniques with porcelain plates and ceramic elements. On a pale green wall, there is a composition shaped like a vase with a lush "bouquet" made of various plates, saucers, and decorative elements.

The lower part of the composition depicts a vase with handles, executed in blue and light blue tones using mosaic techniques. The vase itself is decorated with geometric patterns and floral motifs characteristic of traditional porcelain. The upper part of the installation forms a circular composition of numerous diverse plates of different sizes, creating the effect of abundant blooming.

What adds special value to this architectural element is the variety of plates used — there are classic blue and white patterns reminiscent of Gzhel or Delft porcelain, as well as colorful floral motifs, geometric patterns, and even plates with inscriptions. Between the plates, decorative elements in the shape of leaves and butterflies are artfully placed, giving the composition an organic quality and sense of movement.

At the base of the installation, live plants in bright pots complement the overall composition and create a transition between the architectural element and the surrounding landscape. The red pot stands out particularly, adding a bright accent to the predominantly blue and white color scheme of the composition.
