Exquisite Baroque-inspired Façade: Balconies and Stucco Work in Mediterranean Style

#4253. Exquisite Baroque-inspired Façade: Balconies and Stucco Work in Mediterranean Style

Before us is an exquisite fragment of a façade executed in Neo-Baroque or Art Nouveau style from the early 20th century. The building features a soft peach color on its walls, creating a warm and elegant impression. The architectural composition is built on the contrast between functional elements and decorative embellishments.

Particular attention is drawn to the richly ornamented framing of the upper window with magnificent stucco work. Above the window sits a massive decorative element in the form of a shell or fan with a central bas-relief depicting a classical mask. This expressive element simultaneously serves as a foundation for the wrought-iron balcony of the upper floor, where potted plants and red flowers are placed.

The lower window is framed more modestly but is complemented by an elegant balcony with classical balusters and decorative elements. The façade demonstrates the mastery of architects and sculptors of that time, virtuously combining functionality and exquisite decorativeness, characteristic of Southern European urban architecture.

We develop facade projects for country houses.
