#3666. Lacy Wrought Iron Facade of an Art Nouveau Garden Gate

Before us is an exquisite example of a wrought iron garden gate in Art Nouveau style. The metal structure is crafted in an arch form with a characteristic semicircular top. The facade of the gate presents a complex composition of lacy metalwork, where iron elements form elegant botanical motifs.

The central part of the composition is organized around a sun-like element with radiating rays, which becomes the visual focus of the entire structure. Along the perimeter of the arch, spiral curls, leaves, and curved lines are masterfully arranged, giving the construction the organic quality and plasticity so characteristic of the Art Nouveau style.

The matte black color of the metal effectively contrasts with the greenery of the surrounding forest landscape, creating a dramatic interplay of light and shadow. The gate not only fulfills the utilitarian function of an entrance group but becomes an artistic object, inviting one to enter the mysterious natural space. Particularly noteworthy is the delicate work with negative space — the gaps between the metal elements become an integral part of the overall design.
