Blue Victorian Facade: Elegance of Carvings and Contrasts

#3283. Blue Victorian Facade: Elegance of Carvings and Contrasts

Before us stands a magnificent example of Victorian architecture with elements of Queen Anne and Painted Lady styles. The building stands out with its vibrant blue and white color scheme on the facade, which is a characteristic feature of this architectural direction from the late 19th century.

The facade of the house demonstrates a rich variety of architectural elements and textures. The base is made of light wooden cladding, while the decorative elements are painted in a rich blue color, creating an expressive contrast. Particularly noteworthy is the asymmetrical composition of the facade with various window openings: from large panoramic windows to small decorative ones.

Several key elements can be observed on the facade: a bay window with multi-part windows on the second floor, a circular veranda with a balustrade on the right, a mansard roof with decorative slate elements and skillfully executed carvings on the gable. A wide covered terrace on the first floor encircles the house and rests on decorative columns characteristic of Victorian style.

The entrance group is designed with a double door with an arched transom, and the house number is integrated into the overall composition of the facade. Special attention should be paid to the openwork carvings adorning the cornices and balustrades, as well as the geometric patterns on the railings and decorative elements of the terrace.

We design facades of country houses.
