#2964. Classical Main Entrance with Semicircular Arch and Contrasting Facade Solution

This fragment represents an elegant main entrance to a building in classical style. The focal point is a five-panel black door with two square panels at the bottom and three rectangular panels above. The door is set within a framing of white pilasters with Corinthian order capitals.

Special expressiveness is added to the composition by the semicircular arch with radial glazing — a fanlight located above the door. On both sides of the central door are narrow sidelights with decorative diamond-pattern glazing, which complement the light opening and give the entrance group completeness.

The entire entrance portal is executed in classical proportions with attention to detail characteristic of Georgian architecture. The white color of the framing effectively contrasts with the black door, creating a clear, graphic composition. A wrought iron lantern is suspended above the arch, which serves not only as a functional element but also as an important decorative detail, emphasizing the historical stylistics of the facade.
