#2582. Exquisite Modernist Facade with Carved Bay Window and Balcony in Catalan Style

This magnificent example of modernist architecture showcases an exquisite balcony and bay window adorned with rich stone carvings in the Catalan Modernisme style. The building's facade is clad in light sandstone, giving it an elegant, noble appearance.

The central bay window with its semi-circular balcony draws particular attention, decorated with intricate openwork carving reminiscent of floral and plant motifs. The upper semi-circular window opening is framed by a richly decorated archivolt with ornaments characteristic of Art Nouveau. The pointed arches in the lower part of the bay window with stained glass elements create a neo-Gothic accent.

The vertical columns supporting the bay window are adorned with capitals featuring plant-inspired carvings, demonstrating the architect's attention to detail. The balcony balustrade is also executed with exceptional craftsmanship, combining curvilinear forms and floral motifs typical of Catalan modernism of the early 20th century.

The facade also includes other elements characteristic of this architectural style: decorative moldings along the building's cornice, rhythmically arranged windows with traditional shutters (persians), and the overall asymmetry of the composition, creating a dynamic, lively silhouette.
