Modernist Facade with Decorative Portal and Louvered Door

#2532. Modernist Facade with Decorative Portal and Louvered Door

We are looking at an exquisite example of architectural doorway design that combines elements of modernized Art Nouveau with Mediterranean motifs. The facade features carefully crafted textured plaster with a grainy cream-colored surface that creates an interplay of light and shadow.

The doorway is framed by a decorative portal with a characteristic wavy shape in the upper part, giving the structure softness and plasticity. Of particular note are the ornamental elements in the form of curls and spirals, symmetrically arranged on both sides of the portal and in its upper section. The central medallion with a geometric pattern serves as a focal point of the composition.

The door itself is a wooden louvered structure in dark brown, consisting of four panels. The horizontal slats provide not only aesthetic appeal but also functionality — ventilation and light regulation.

The space below the door is decorated with a decorative threshold featuring a mosaic pattern in ochre with white ornaments that echo the motifs of the upper part of the portal. This creates compositional closure and integrity for the entire ensemble.
