Neoclassical façade with openwork metal doors and rich sculptural decoration

#2521. Neoclassical façade with openwork metal doors and rich sculptural decoration

Before us is an elegant façade with a richly decorated door portal executed in neoclassical style. The monumental entrance is framed by marble columns with Ionic capitals, which emphasize the grandeur and status of the building. The columns are made of variegated marble with characteristic veining, adding textural richness to the overall composition.

The focal point is a double-leaf door of greenish color, crafted from metal with exquisite openwork grille featuring a diamond pattern and circular elements. The lower part of the door is adorned with curved spiral ornaments characteristic of Art Nouveau from the early 20th century, creating an interesting stylistic combination with the classical elements of the portal.

Particular attention is drawn to the rich sculptural decoration of the doorway. Fruit and floral garlands and plant ornaments in the form of bas-reliefs frame the entrance, creating an effect of abundance and luxury. The upper part of the portal is crowned with a decorative keystone in the form of a cartouche or shell, which is a typical element of Baroque architecture.

At the base of the entrance are two stone spheres – elements often used in aristocratic architecture as a symbol of completeness and perfection. The entire composition demonstrates the craftsmanship of stonemasons and the high artistic taste characteristic of representative urban architecture from the late 19th to early 20th century.
