#2515. Gothic-Renaissance Facade with Heraldic Portal and Decorative Carvings

The image showcases a magnificent example of historical architecture with a richly ornamented entrance portal. The facade is constructed from light-colored stone and adorned with exquisite carvings in Gothic and Renaissance styles. The portal features two door sections: on the left, a smaller door with geometric patterns in Moorish style, and on the right, a wider arched door with decorative metal grilles and glass inserts.

Above the entrance stands an expressive heraldic element—a stone shield supported by two stylized lions, indicating the historical significance of the building. The architectural composition includes diverse decorative elements: sculptural cornices, floral ornaments, and sculptural embellishments organically integrated into the facade. Particularly striking are the fantastic creatures (possibly dragons or gargoyles) positioned on either side of the central entrance.

Stylistically, the facade demonstrates a transitional period between late Gothic and early Renaissance, evident in the combination of pointed arches and more classical elements. The number "41" on a blue plaque indicates the building's address. The fine detail work, depth of relief, and overall harmony of the composition testify to the high craftsmanship of the stonemasons and sculptors of their time.
