#2445. Modernist Façade with Mosaic Decoration and Floral Motifs

The image showcases a fragment of an architectural façade in a modernist style with clear influences from mosaic traditions. The upper part of the structure is adorned with green ceramic tiles arranged in a geometric pattern. In the central part of the green section, a decorative square with a stylized four-petal ornament stands out.

The façade gains particular expressiveness through curved elements inlaid with mosaic fragments of blue, green, and white glass, creating a dynamic composition against the backdrop of a clear blue sky. This technique is reminiscent of Catalan modernism works, especially techniques employed by Antoni Gaudí.

The lower part of the façade is crafted from light-colored stone with a relief floral ornament that contrasts with the geometric strictness of the upper section. This relief element, depicting a stylized tree or flower, adds an organic quality to the entire composition. The combination of stonework, ceramic tiles, and mosaic creates a rich textural palette characteristic of decorative modernism from the early 20th century.
