Art Nouveau Facade with Turquoise Wrought Iron Elements and Mosaic Decor

#2422. Art Nouveau Facade with Turquoise Wrought Iron Elements and Mosaic Decor

This architectural fragment is a striking example of Art Nouveau with elements of Mediterranean influence. Before us is a detailed entrance to a building with the elegant wrought iron railings typical of this style framing the staircase. Particularly eye-catching is the unusual architectural element on the left – a vertical construction of turquoise-colored wrought metal, crowned with a lamp or decorative lantern.

The building facade is finished with white stucco, adorned with decorative green ceramic tiles featuring relief patterns that form a geometric frieze. The color palette of the facade is built on a harmonious combination of white, turquoise-blue, and green colors – a palette typical of early 20th century Art Nouveau. The house number "3" is displayed on a ceramic plate with decorative framing.

The staircase leading to the entrance door is covered with mosaic tiles featuring geometric ornaments in the same green-blue tones, creating a unified ensemble with the wrought iron railing and the overall facade design. The doorway has an arched shape with turquoise framing. The entire composition reflects Art Nouveau architects' aspiration to create a holistic work of art where each detail aligns with the overall concept and aesthetics.
