Decorative Polychrome Facade with Ornamental Balcony

#2240. Decorative Polychrome Facade with Ornamental Balcony

This is an elegant balcony on a historic building with a richly decorated facade in Mediterranean or Southern European style. The facade features a distinctive polychrome finish with geometric ornament of diagonal terracotta-colored lines on a light yellow background, creating an effect of three-dimensional diamond pattern.

The window and door openings are framed with exquisite white casings featuring Neo-Baroque stucco decorations. Particularly notable are the upper elements of the casings, adorned with shell motifs (scallop shells) and graceful scrollwork. Above the openings are decorative ventilation apertures with openwork grilles.

On the left is a window with wooden shutters, while on the right is a balcony door with glass panels. The balcony itself is enclosed by a wrought iron black railing with ornamental motifs. The balcony displays elements of everyday life: potted plants and terracotta flower pots, which give the facade a lived-in, animated appearance.

The upper cornice of the building is designed in a classical style with denticles (tooth-like ornamental pattern), emphasizing the historical authenticity of the architecture. Overall, the facade represents an excellent example of regional historical style with attention to decorative details and color solutions.
