Modernist Facade with Turquoise Walls and Decorative Tower in Mediterranean Style

#2161. Modernist Facade with Turquoise Walls and Decorative Tower in Mediterranean Style

Before us stands a magnificent example of early 20th century modernist architecture with pronounced elements of Catalan Art Nouveau and Mediterranean style. The building features an asymmetrical facade composition with a dominant tower crowned by a characteristic dome with a geometric pattern made of ceramic tiles.

The main volume is executed in a soft turquoise color, typical for Mediterranean architecture. The facade is richly decorated: an arched niche with a sculptural composition is located above the central entrance, framed by an elegant cornice. The window openings have a horseshoe shape characteristic of Art Nouveau, complemented by decorative elements.

The tower element deserves special attention with its dark blue tall windows and decorative crown-like finishing with white pinnacles. The contrast between light walls and dark blue elements creates an expressive rhythm across the facade. The wrought iron balcony railings demonstrate the typical Art Nouveau plasticity of lines.

The building is organically integrated into the surrounding landscape with characteristic Mediterranean vegetation, which emphasizes its regional identity and enhances the overall impression of the architectural ensemble.
