Modernist Façade with Floral Ornament: Symmetry and Decorative Richness

#2086. Modernist Façade with Floral Ornament: Symmetry and Decorative Richness

This is an elegant example of a modernist façade with rich decorative finishing in a style reminiscent of Catalan Modernism or Art Nouveau. The façade is executed in a terracotta-red color with contrasting white (or cream) ornamental elements creating an expressive relief.

The central part of the façade is adorned with a symmetrical composition featuring three vertical elements crowned with circular rosettes resembling stylized flowers. Each rosette has a radial structure with a central circle from which geometric elements emanate. Below the rosettes lies a complex geometric ornament with diamond-shaped motifs and floral elements.

Of particular note are the sculptural elements in the form of lion heads (or other zoomorphic motifs) positioned on either side of the central decorative panel. They serve as both decorative and functional elements, possibly functioning as consoles.

The background texture of the wall has a regular relief pattern of small square elements, creating the effect of a textile surface. The building's windows are framed with clean white borders, creating a classical contrast with the rich ornamentation of the central part.

The lower section of the façade is completed with a metal balcony railing featuring a geometric pattern that echoes the overall style of the building but executed in a more restrained manner.
