#2005. Art Nouveau Façade with Stained Glass Windows and Wrought Iron Elements

This is a magnificent example of a modernist façade in the Art Nouveau style (or possibly Catalan Modernism). The fragment demonstrates exquisite work with both traditional and innovative elements from the early 20th century. The façade is made of red brick with contrasting light stone elements, creating an effective polychromy.

Particularly noteworthy is the balcony with its delicate wrought iron railing, executed with the flowing lines and repetitive decorative elements characteristic of Art Nouveau. Above the windows sits an expressive cornice with decorative brackets adorned with floral ornaments in the modernist style.

The window group consists of a central double-leaf window surrounded by two side windows, all featuring characteristic modernist glazing with blue stained glass inserts creating a geometric pattern. Between the floors runs a decorative band with blue ceramic inserts and floral ornamentation typical of the Art Nouveau style.

The entire façade composition demonstrates a fine balance between structural elements and decorative embellishments, which is the hallmark of Art Nouveau architecture from the late 19th to early 20th century.
