Modern country house with stone facade and open terrace

#18573. Modern country house with stone facade and open terrace

Before us is an expressive example of modern countryside architecture, where natural stone and wooden elements are harmoniously combined. The massive facade of stone masonry creates a sense of solidity and connection to the earth, while large panoramic windows provide visual lightness and connect the building with the surrounding landscape.

Particularly noteworthy is the contrast between the heavy textured stonework and dark window frames, which is a classic technique in contemporary facade design for country houses. The architect skillfully used a combination of vertical wooden louvers on part of the facade, giving the building rhythm and a modern feel.

The open terrace with a cozy seating area by the fireplace naturally extends the interior space of the house. Note the fireplace integrated into the stone wall — it's not only a functional element but also a focal point of the entire exterior composition. The lighting at the base of the walls softly emphasizes the texture of the stone and creates a pleasant atmosphere in the evening.

When designing your own facade, it's worth paying attention to such a combination of materials: natural stone adds solidity and durability, wooden elements bring warmth and eco-friendliness, while large windows ensure good insolation and visual connection with nature.
