Art Nouveau Circular Window on a Classical Facade

#1855. Art Nouveau Circular Window on a Classical Facade

The image showcases an interesting architectural solution — a round window in Art Nouveau style integrated into a classical building facade. The circular construction (lunette) features geometric divisions characteristic of the early 20th century: a central vertical element divides the window into two parts, while horizontal crossbars create a three-part division.

The facade is designed in light tones with decorative elements of classical architecture. Above the window construction, there is a cornice with a row of protruding ornamental details — dentils and carved elements. Small decorative rosettes are visible at the corners of the circular opening. The wall texture has a slight greenish tint, contrasting with the white architectural details.

Light blue curtains are visible behind the glass, adding a particular atmospheric quality to the composition. On the right side of the facade, another rectangular window can be seen, indicating a combined approach to the organization of window openings. The lower part of the facade is adorned with a decorative frieze featuring floral ornaments, completing the composition and adding refinement to the overall appearance.
