Elegant Art Nouveau Bay Window with Floral Facade Ornamentation

#1853. Elegant Art Nouveau Bay Window with Floral Facade Ornamentation

The architectural element in the photograph represents an elegant bay window executed in Art Nouveau or early Art Deco style. The bay window has a semi-circular shape with characteristic panoramic glazing framed in green frames, creating an elegant contrast with the sand-beige stone of the facade.

Special attention is drawn to the decorative elements: the cornice of the bay window is adorned with protruding brackets (modillions), creating a rhythmic pattern along the upper perimeter. Graceful floral ornaments in the form of rosettes decorate the spaces between windows and above the central vertical section. These floral motifs are typical of architecture from the turn of the 19th-20th centuries and lend sophistication to the structure.

The bay window is organically integrated into the overall composition of the building's facade, made of light-colored stone or stucco. The lower part of the glazing is complemented by small metal railings, which enhances visual depth and creates an additional decorative element. The proportions of the bay window are harmonious, and its projecting form effectively expands the interior space of the room, simultaneously serving as an expressive architectural accent.
