The presented building showcases an impressive example of contemporary Alpine architecture, where the traditional chalet form has been reinterpreted in the context of modern design. The facade features expressive geometry with a characteristic gabled roof, paying homage to traditional Alpine construction while offering a thoroughly modern interpretation.
Of particular interest is the facade system with horizontal wooden louvers that create a rhythmic structure and play of light and shadow. These elements not only serve a decorative purpose but also function as sun protection devices, indicating a functional approach to facade design. The louvers create visual permeability while simultaneously protecting the interior spaces from excessive solar exposure.
Compositionally, the building is organized in tiers with spacious terraces that extend the living space and provide a connection to the surrounding landscape. The combination of glass, wood, and stone gives the building an organic quality and integrates it into the mountain landscape.
