#1822. Historic balcony with Baroque ornamentation and wrought iron elements on the façade

This image showcases an exquisite example of an Art Nouveau or Baroque-style balcony on a historic building. Particular attention is drawn to the richly decorated brackets supporting the projecting balcony. Each bracket is adorned with intricate carvings featuring vegetal motifs with scrolls and leaves, creating an impression of dynamism and plasticity.

On the edges of the balcony slab are monumental pilasters with spherical finials, also lavishly decorated with sculptural elements. The metal balcony railing is crafted as an elegant wrought iron lattice with repeating patterns of spirals and volutes, characteristic of late 19th and early 20th century architecture. Behind the balcony, green wooden shutters and window frame can be seen, creating a contrast with the beige stone façade.

The entire composition demonstrates the high craftsmanship of stonemasons and artistic blacksmiths of the period. The patina of time and traces of weathering on the stone give the façade additional historical depth and authenticity, emphasizing the significance of this architectural element in the overall composition of the building.

We develop projects of facdes for private houses.
