Modern facade with terracotta accents and perforated brickwork

#17363. Modern facade with terracotta accents and perforated brickwork

Before us is an expressive example of modern residential architecture – the "Leela's" residence, demonstrating a harmonious combination of functionality and aesthetics. This three-story house features a bold facade design that showcases a skillful play with contrasting materials and textures.

The building's facade is built on the contrast between warm terracotta tones and neutral white. The decorative brickwork with perforated patterns gives the exterior a special character, not only fulfilling an aesthetic function but also promoting natural ventilation. The vertical elements of the brick cladding create a rhythmic pattern, giving the facade dynamism and textural depth.

The architectural composition breaks up the massiveness of the building through alternating protruding and recessed volumes. Glass balcony railings on the second and third levels provide visual lightness and openness, while the horizontal lines of the balconies balance the vertical rhythms in the facade composition.

The entrance to the building is accentuated by black gates with wooden elements, creating an expressive contrast with the overall color scheme. The fence with openwork brick enclosure visually resonates with the facade elements, maintaining the integrity of the architectural solution.

This project demonstrates how when designing a facade for a private house, one can use a combination of modern and traditional materials, play with textures and perforation, and create visual rhythms using contrasting elements. This approach allows giving the building individuality and character while preserving functionality and living comfort.
