#17020. Modern facade with integrated terrace: dialogue of concrete and glass

The presented architectural solution demonstrates an exquisite example of modern facade design with a pronounced integration of interior and exterior spaces. The facade composition is built on the contrast of materials: the textured concrete surface of the walls harmoniously combines with extensive glazing, creating an effect of transparency and lightness.

Of particular note is the recessed lounge area with a bright red sofa, which forms a transitional space between interior and exterior. This architectural technique not only functionally enriches the facade but also creates a visual accent, diluting the monochromatic palette of gray tones.

The smooth curved line of the ceiling above the veranda adds dynamics to the overall geometry of the facade, softening the strictness of rectangular forms. The panoramic glazing is executed with minimal profiles, which emphasizes the modern character of the building and creates a sense of spatial continuity.

For private housing, such a solution can be adapted by applying a combination of textured concrete and glass on a smaller scale, as well as using the idea of a recessed terrace as a transition zone. It is important to maintain a balance of privacy and openness through thoughtful placement of glazing and organization of levels on the site.
