Modern three-level mansion with wood-stone facade and panoramic glazing

#16985. Modern three-level mansion with wood-stone facade and panoramic glazing

This impressive example of modern architecture represents a harmonious combination of wood, stone, and glass, creating an expressive facade of a luxurious mansion. The three-level structure demonstrates clean geometric lines and precise proportions. The facade is finished with a contrasting combination of warm wooden panels and natural sandstone, giving the building both contemporary and natural character.

Particularly noteworthy is the abundance of panoramic glazing, which not only provides excellent natural lighting to the interior spaces but also creates an effect of transparency, visually lightening the massive structure. The horizontal lines of concrete overlays break up the vertical composition, adding dynamics to the architectural solution. The open lower level with a spacious terrace organically flows into the landscaped surroundings and pool, blurring the boundary between interior and exterior spaces.

The architects masterfully used the technique of stepped volumes in organizing the building structure, which created an interesting play of shadows and emphasized the structural composition. In private construction, a similar approach can be adapted even for smaller homes – protruding facade elements, contrasting materials, and thoughtful lighting can give individuality to any building. The combination of natural wood with stone or brick masonry, complemented by large windows in dark frames, looks particularly effective.
