This contemporary multi-apartment complex showcases an expressive play with façade composition, dominated by a modular grid of light blue panels contrasting with inserts of warm reddish-brown wood or wood-like material. The façade is built on a clear rhythmic alternation of window openings, which in the evening create the effect of a luminous "chessboard," giving the building lightness and a modern appearance.
Particularly interesting is the solution with asymmetrical placement of wooden elements that visually break up the monotony of the glass-panel system and form a unique pattern on the façade. The ground floor is distinguished by continuous glazing, creating a transparent public zone and visual lightness at the building's base. Façade design with such contrasting combination of materials can also be applied in private housing, using natural textures to create accent zones.
The building's architecture demonstrates a modern Scandinavian approach with its rationality, functionality, and yet expressiveness achieved through minimal means. Despite its scale, the building does not appear bulky thanks to well-thought-out articulation and color accents.
