#16793. Black modernist facade with panoramic glazing and green roof in forest surroundings

This modern house exemplifies modernist architecture where the main compositional technique is the interplay of geometric volumes. The facade is finished in a minimalist black color, creating a dramatic contrast with the surrounding forest landscape. Particularly expressive are the large panoramic windows that occupy almost the entire facade area, blurring the boundary between interior and exterior spaces.

The architectural composition is built on shifted rectangular volumes creating a dynamic silhouette. One of the most interesting elements of the facade design is the green roof on one of the levels, which organically integrates the building into its natural surroundings. This solution is not only aesthetically appealing but also environmentally friendly, contributing to thermal insulation and rainwater management.

The alternation of solid sections and glass surfaces creates rhythm on the facade, while warm interior lighting shining through the glass softens the strictness of the exterior appearance. The use of vertical and horizontal lines in the facade design gives the building a strict geometric clarity characteristic of contemporary architecture.

When designing your own house, you can adopt several techniques: the contrasting combination of dark finishing materials with large glazed surfaces, the use of a stepped composition of volumes to create terraces and green roofs, as well as the integration of landscape design directly into the architecture of the building.

We develop facade projects for country houses.
