Before us is an outstanding example of architecture in the Catalan Modernist style with clear influences of Neo-Moorish aesthetics. The building demonstrates an exquisite balance of textures: the lower part of the facade is faced with irregularly shaped natural stone, creating a rustic effect, while the upper floor is made of expressive brickwork with a rhythmic alternation of protruding elements, forming a characteristic serrated silhouette.
Of particular note are the arched window openings with green shutters, framed by decorative brickwork forming stepped arches. This technique creates an expressive play of light and shadow on the facade. Balconies with openwork brick parapets complement the architectural composition, giving the building lightness and elegance.
The terracotta tile roof with protruding decorative elements harmoniously completes the image of the building. Such facade detailing requires high craftsmanship but allows for the creation of a truly unique architectural object.
When designing your own home, you can use some of the techniques presented in this building: combining different textures (stone and brick), creating rhythmic elements on the facade to form an expressive play of light and shadow, as well as using natural materials to give the building character and individuality.
