#16523. Elegant Art Nouveau façade with Neo-Romanian elements

The building presented is an excellent example of Art Nouveau architecture with elements of Neo-Romanian style. The façade features exquisite decorative details characteristic of the early 20th century. Particularly expressive is the central compositional element – a semicircular balcony with delicate openwork balustrade supported by elegant brackets.

The façade is characterized by a harmonious combination of curved and straight lines. The light-colored plastered surface serves as a perfect background for the expressive architectural details: stucco cornices, window surrounds and decorative inserts. The windows have an arched shape on the ground floor and a rectangular form on the second floor, creating an interesting rhythmic pattern.

The building's roof is made of dark tiles with a distinctive slope, adding completeness and solidity to the structure. Particularly noteworthy is the filigree work with details – ornamental inserts under the cornices, elegant design of the entrance group, and artistic window frames, which give the building a unique, memorable appearance.

When designing the façade of a private house, one can draw inspiration from some elements of this building: the flowing lines of window frames, decorative inserts, or elegant balcony designs can give a modern structure individuality and character without overwhelming it with excessive decoration.
