#15835. Modern facade with contrasting stone masonry and minimalist planes

This architectural object is a striking example of the harmonious combination of traditional materials and modern forms. The building facade demonstrates an interesting contrast solution: massive natural stone masonry coexists with contemporary concrete planes and large glazed surfaces. Especially expressive is the vertical element of rough stone, which visually connects both levels of the house and creates a sense of reliability and rootedness of the structure.

The left part of the facade is finished in a dark gray color with minimalist design, creating a dramatic contrast with the textural stone masonry. The right part is more open and light, with large panoramic windows allowing abundant natural light to penetrate the interior. Through the lower glazing, one can see light white curtains, adding airiness to the interior.

In the facade design, one can note the thoughtful interplay of textures and volumes: heavy stone is juxtaposed with light modern materials, while the simple geometric forms of the building emphasize the natural irregularity of the stone masonry. A small stone terrace and stone steps organically connect the house with the surrounding landscape.

When designing your own house, you can take note of techniques such as combining contrasting materials (natural stone and modern smooth surfaces), using vertical accent elements, and creating a visual balance between closed and open spaces of the facade.
