Contrasting Brick Facade with Protruding Glass Bay Windows

#15730. Contrasting Brick Facade with Protruding Glass Bay Windows

This is a modern residential house with a minimalist design that harmoniously combines brickwork and large glass elements. The main feature of the facade is the dark brick cladding, which creates a strict, restrained image of the building. The architectural composition consists of two connected volumes: a tall vertical one and a lower horizontal one with a mono-pitched roof.

The most interesting element is the use of protruding glass bay windows, which contrast with the monolithic nature of the brick surface. These glass "boxes" not only provide a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape but also become key accents of the composition, breaking up the monotony of the facade. The minimalist design is emphasized by clean lines, absence of decorative elements, and clear geometry.

This technique of protruding glass volumes can be used in private housing to create additional light zones, accentuate important spaces, and visually expand the interior space. The contrast between enclosed brick surfaces and open glass elements gives the building dynamism and a contemporary look without resorting to complex decorative solutions.

We develop projects of facdes for private houses.
