Modern country house with contrasting stone and wood façade

#15706. Modern country house with contrasting stone and wood façade

Before us is an elegant country house that harmoniously combines modern architectural solutions with natural materials. The façade presents an interesting combination of stone masonry and wooden elements, creating visual contrast and textural richness. The asymmetrical mono-pitched roof with its expressive wooden cornice draws particular attention, adding dynamism to the entire composition.

Light natural stone walls serve as the main structural element, giving the house solidity and a connection to the earth. Large panoramic windows in wooden frames make the space open, allow natural light to enter, and visually connect the interior with the surrounding landscape. The corner glazing element is especially interesting, creating an effect of transparency and lightness within the massive structure.

A cozy relaxation area with a terrace is arranged in front of the house, where minimalist garden furniture harmoniously fits into the overall concept. Plants hanging from the roof create an element of living architecture, softening the geometric lines of the building. In the façade design, one can note the successful use of texture combinations (stone, wood, glass), which can be adopted when designing one's own home. It's also worth noting how the architect preserved existing trees, integrating them into the property space — even installing a swing on the old tree in front of the house, which adds a special charm to the place.

Finishing project for the outside of the house.
