The facade of this modern residential building demonstrates an interesting combination of functionality and aesthetics through the use of perforated metal panels. These vertical elements, made of light gray metal with a geometric perforation pattern, serve simultaneously as sun protection screens and decorative elements, giving the facade a rhythmic structure.
Particularly noteworthy is how these panels contrast with the minimalist white facade of the building, creating a play of light and shadow. The reflection of the sky can be seen in the windows, enhancing the impression of lightness in the construction. The vertical metal railings of the balconies with thin rods complement the overall composition, creating a second level of visual rhythm.
In this project, the architect skillfully used perforated metal as an element that combines the practical function of sun protection with a decorative aspect, making the facade dynamic and contemporary. For private construction, a similar technique can be adapted in the form of perforated shutters or screens, which can serve both to regulate natural lighting and to create privacy, while becoming an expressive design element.
