#15398. Contemporary façade of a compact house with attic and integrated carport

Before us is a compact single-story house with an attic, executed in a modern interpretation of the traditional American style. The façade is clad in horizontal white siding, creating a sense of spaciousness and visually expanding the structure. The pointed gable roof with a pronounced pitch angle is the dominant compositional element and gives the building an expressive silhouette.

The architectural details of the façade are minimalist but meticulously crafted: the contrasting dark finish of the roof and structural elements (canopy supports, window frames) creates a distinct graphic pattern. The window openings have a traditional form with characteristic division into sections. A symmetrically placed window on the gable completes the composition and provides natural lighting for the attic floor.

A functional feature of the project is the shed roof carport, integrated into the overall architectural concept – it serves as a shelter for a car while simultaneously creating a protected area in front of the entrance. The laconic porch with several steps is framed by a minimalist canopy on thin supports, emphasizing the verticality of the composition.

For designing your own façade in a similar style, it's important to focus on proportions, clean lines, and a contrasting color scheme. Using horizontal siding combined with dark accents will give the house a contemporary look while preserving classical architectural principles. Thoughtful integration of functional elements (canopies, porch) into the overall composition will help achieve a harmonious unity of form and function.
