Before us is a contemporary countryside structure with an expressive wooden façade that becomes the main artistic element of the entire architectural composition. The building presents a compact volume with complex geometry, composed of several blocks of varying heights, creating a dynamic silhouette.
The façade is executed in a technique of vertical wooden planking in a dark color, where the boards are placed with an irregular rhythm and various protrusions relative to the wall plane. This approach creates a rich play of light and shadow, adds texture and depth to the building. The verticality of the cladding visually increases the height of the structure, while the heterogeneity of the board placement breaks the monotony and gives the façade artistic expressiveness.
A distinctive feature of the building is the contrast between the closed dark surfaces and the large glazing on the ground floor, which creates a visual connection between the interior space and the surrounding landscape. The natural context—trees and boulders—organically complements the architectural solution, emphasizing the building's connection with nature.
This approach to façade design can be adapted for private residential construction: vertical arrangement of planking with variable rhythm, playing with the depth of board placement, contrasting combination of closed surfaces with thoughtfully designed window openings—all these techniques help create a modern, expressive image of a country house that harmoniously fits into the natural landscape.
