#15290. Parametric Wooden Facade: Geometric Texture and Play of Light

Before us stands an impressive example of contemporary architecture — the "WARDA" building with its unique parametric facade. The facade is executed as a three-dimensional geometric composition of triangular wooden modules, creating an effect of volumetric texture. The architect employed a diagonal grid principle, where each element represents either a protruding or recessed triangle, generating a dynamic play of light and shadow across the surface.

Particularly noteworthy is the facade material — natural wood in a warm honey tone, which contrasts with dark glass inserts strategically placed to provide natural lighting to the interior. The entrance is designed with massive wooden doors that harmoniously blend into the overall concept. It's notable that the upper part of the building is crowned with greenery, adding an ecological aspect to the project.

This approach to facade design demonstrates how a traditional material (wood) can be used in an innovative form to create a modern, memorable image. For private residential construction, similar techniques can be adapted in the form of more modest wooden panels with geometric relief, accent finishing of the entrance area, or creating separate facade fragments with three-dimensional texture, which will give individuality even to a typical project.
