Blue Art Deco facade with vertical pilasters and decorative window framing

#15273. Blue Art Deco facade with vertical pilasters and decorative window framing

This is an expressive example of modern art deco architectural adaptation. The building's facade is finished in a rich blue color, creating an elegant and restrained image. Vertical ribbed pilasters, characteristic of the Art Deco style, organize a rhythmic articulation of the facade, giving the building a majestic appearance and emphasizing its height.

Particularly noteworthy is the symmetrical composition of window openings arranged in two rows. Each window is framed by decorative elements with elegant curves reminiscent of stylized volutes. These details add sophistication to the strict geometry of the building. The large windows on the first and second floors allow natural light to penetrate inside, creating a contrast between the rich blue exterior and the warm interior lighting visible through the glass.

Also notable is the use of built-in lighting fixtures arranged around the perimeter of the facade — they highlight the architectural details and create an additional visual dimension in the evening hours.

For private housing construction, several techniques can be borrowed from this facade: playing with vertical elements to visually increase the height of the building, using a monochromatic but rich color palette, and decorative framing of window openings. Proper placement of exterior lighting can also significantly improve the perception of architectural details of the house in the evening.

We develop facade projects for country houses.
