#1471. Coral Floral Relief on Art Nouveau Facade

The image shows an elegant architectural relief executed in the Art Nouveau style. This fragment of facade decoration displays an exquisite floral composition on a light blue background. The relief is organized in two horizontal rows of stylized flowers with coral-colored heads and finely crafted white stems, leaves, and curlicues.

The upper and lower parts of the panel demonstrate a rhythmic alternation of floral motifs, creating a harmonious symmetrical composition. Particularly noteworthy is the smooth, flowing execution of the plant ornament lines — a characteristic feature of the Art Nouveau of the early 20th century. The relief's plasticity is emphasized by the contrast between the deeply worked white elements and the bright coral flowers, which resemble brain tissue or coral formations, an unusual but striking design choice.

The frieze is framed by a thin turquoise border at the top and bottom, creating a cohesive composition and emphasizing the decorative nature of the entire element. Such facade details were characteristic of prestigious urban buildings of the Art Nouveau period and testify to the high craftsmanship and attention to artistic details in the architecture of that time.
