Before us is an excellent example of Dutch Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) architecture, showcasing a wealth of decorative elements on a brick façade. This residential building features an eclectic composition characteristic of the early 20th century with expressive accents.
The brick façade is skillfully decorated with contrasting elements of multicolored brickwork. Particularly noteworthy is the semi-circular arch of the upper window with decorative framing, creating an expressive architectural accent. Below it, there are four artistic panels with images, likely made in majolica or ceramic tile technique — a typical decorative method of Art Nouveau.
In the lower part of the façade, one can see a row of decorative arched niches with yellow and red brickwork, forming a rhythmic ornamental belt. The green ceramic panel with a floral motif — stylized yellow flowers — stands out especially, which is a characteristic element of Art Nouveau in façade design.
The window openings are framed with white frames, creating a contrast with the red-brick wall and emphasizing the architectural composition. The façade demonstrates masterful use of brickwork as an artistic medium — a technique that can be adapted for modern private construction, creating expressive details without using expensive materials.
