#13378. Modern House with Openwork Perforated Facade

This architectural object is a striking example of modern minimalist design employing a perforated facade that serves both aesthetic and functional purposes. The light gray metallic panels with geometric ornaments consisting of floral and circular perforations create an interplay of light and shadow, adding airiness and visual lightness to the building.

Particularly impressive is the contrast between the massiveness of the solid volume and the lace-like shell. The glass entrance with sliding doors effectively juxtaposes the textured surface of the facade, while the external staircase, also framed with perforated metal, is organically integrated into the overall composition.

This facade perforation technique can be successfully applied in private housing to create openwork screens, canopies, or decorative elements. Such cladding not only gives the house a modern look but also provides privacy and additional protection from the sun while maintaining good ventilation and visual lightness of the structure. Interestingly, when illuminated at night, such a facade transforms into a spectacular light object as light penetrates through the numerous openings.
