#13014. Two-toned asymmetrical façade with contrasting dark panels and wood

This modern residential structure features a distinctive asymmetrical form with a sharp gabled roof creating a dynamic silhouette. The façade presents an interesting combination of contrasting materials: the upper portion is clad in dark vertical panels that give the building graphical definition and clean lines, while the lower section is finished in warm wood, softening the overall impression.

The architectural composition is built on the interplay of geometric forms and planes. Particularly noteworthy is the corner solution with large panoramic windows that create visual lightness and provide abundant natural light to the interior spaces. A significant element is the covered entrance area formed by the projecting upper floor.

The building is harmoniously integrated into the surrounding landscape thanks to a stone retaining wall made of gabions, creating a terraced plot and forming the approach to the house. The surrounding vegetation softens the building's geometry, while the greenery of the trees provides a picturesque backdrop for the dark façade.

When designing your own façade, you might adopt several techniques from this project: the contrasting combination of materials (wood and dark panels), the use of large glazed surfaces to create a connection with the surroundings, playing with roof geometry to form an expressive silhouette, and the thoughtful use of landscape elements that become part of the architectural solution.
