Decorative Art Nouveau Bay Window: White Stone Façade with Floral Motifs

#1271. Decorative Art Nouveau Bay Window: White Stone Façade with Floral Motifs

What we see is an exquisite fragment of an Art Nouveau façade, displaying characteristic features of early 20th century architecture. The white stone bay window creates a plastic, flowing volume typical of this style. The upper part of the structure is designed as an elegant balustrade with floral ornaments — large flower rosettes and leaves, skillfully carved in stone.

The decorative design of the lower part of the bay window deserves special attention, where windows with the smooth, organic forms characteristic of Art Nouveau are located. The central decorative element is presented as a stylized plant motif with wave-like curls and symmetrical composition. The relief ornament frames the window openings, creating a cohesive composition.

The contrast between the white stone bay window and the ochre wall of the main façade enhances the expressiveness of the architectural solution. In the upper part of the image, wrought iron elements of the balcony railing with a geometric pattern can be seen, which is also characteristic of the architecture of that period. The combination of sculptural plasticity, plant motifs, and functional elements creates a harmonious example of Art Nouveau architecture.
