#12668. Cylindrical Concrete Facade with Wooden Accents

Before us is a striking example of modern minimalist architecture with an interesting combination of forms and materials. The main volume of the building is a cylindrical concrete structure with a characteristic exposed formwork texture, creating a rhythmic pattern on the surface. This industrial element is softened by warm wooden window frame inserts in a rich yellow-orange shade.

The facade's distinctive feature is the contrast between the brutal concrete shell and geometric accents in the form of protruding rectangular window frames. This technique not only creates visual interest but also forms a play of light and shadow on the monolithic surface. On the right, a rectangular block with similar wooden finishing adjoins the main cylindrical volume, ensuring compositional integrity of the entire ensemble.

The laconic landscape design with palm trees and low plants emphasizes the modern character of the building, while a low concrete fence frames the territory, continuing the architectural language of the main structure.

For home facade design, this project demonstrates the effectiveness of combining contrasting materials: cold concrete and warm wood. We can also note the successful use of a non-standard cylindrical form that makes the building stand out among traditional development. Protruding window frames are a technique that can be adapted for private construction to create an interesting play of volumes on the facade.
