Dual-volume country house with contrasting minimalist façade

#11529. Dual-volume country house with contrasting minimalist façade

This modern country house exemplifies minimalist architecture harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape. The composition consists of two volumes with characteristic gabled roofs connected by a white central block, creating an interesting contrast between the dark side elements and the light central part.

The façade features a restrained color palette: dark horizontal cladding on the side volumes creates a strict, laconic image, while stone masonry at the lower level provides visual stability and connection to the surrounding nature. Large panoramic windows not only ensure abundant natural light for the interior spaces but also create a dialogue between the inside and outside, blurring the boundary between the house and garden.

Particularly noteworthy is the terrace area with minimalist railings, which unifies the two volumes and serves as a transitional space between interior and exterior. Wooden elements, including the entrance door, add warmth to the overall austere composition.

When designing your own façade, several techniques can be borrowed: the contrasting combination of dark and light surfaces, the use of natural materials (wood, stone) to create a connection with the environment, and large glazing for maximum interaction with the natural landscape. It's also important to pay attention to the clean lines and forms characteristic of contemporary architecture, and the thoughtful geometry of volumes.
