Tudor Brick Façade with Diamond Pattern and Leaded Windows

#11151. Tudor Brick Façade with Diamond Pattern and Leaded Windows

This exquisite example of Tudor brick architecture showcases the classic features of an early 20th century English country house. The façade is constructed from red-brown brick with a characteristic Tudor-style decorative pattern of lighter-colored bricks forming a diamond motif on the upper part of the wall.

Particularly noteworthy are the numerous tall windows with traditional leaded panes and stone lintels. The ground floor windows are larger and rectangular, while the upper floor features more compact window openings. The roof displays characteristic Tudor-style tall chimneys and dormer windows that harmoniously integrate into the overall composition.

The central entrance is designed as an arched portal, emphasizing the vertical axis of the façade. The gable with diagonal brick pattern creates an expressive accent in the composition. The right wing features larger windows with frequent muntins, suggesting a possible public function for this part of the building.

The terraced landscape in front of the house with a stone patio and decorative planters masterfully connects the architecture with its surroundings. In a personal project, one could borrow elements such as decorative brickwork, combination of differently sized windows, use of arched elements, and contrasting materials to create an expressive façade with historical references.
