#10776. Minimalist Facade with Contrasting Gabled Roof

This modern residential house is an excellent example of minimalist architecture with a skillful combination of contrasting materials and volumes. The facade of the building is executed as a contemporary interpretation of the traditional gabled form, creating an image that respects historical heritage while remaining absolutely modern.

The main volume of the building is finished with white panels, creating a clean and laconic image, while the roof is covered with a terracotta metal profile that adds warmth and texture to the composition. This two-color scheme is a classic technique that makes the silhouette of the building more expressive and easily readable.

The facade facing the patio is fully glazed with framed sliding doors in black profiles, creating a distinct contrast with the white finish and ensuring a visual connection between the interior space and the garden. Above this glass wall is a minimalist canopy with perforation, which not only provides sun protection but also creates an interesting play of shadows on the facade.

The second part of the complex is made of gray brick, adding textural diversity. Of particular note is the freestanding outdoor fireplace with a chimney, which becomes a visual dominant of the external space and a functional element of the patio.

When designing your own facade, you can apply similar techniques: contrast of materials and textures, combination of traditional forms with modern execution, use of large glazing to connect with the landscape, and thoughtful sun protection elements that simultaneously become decorative details.
