Modular façade with orange accents: play of volumes in contemporary architecture

#10181. Modular façade with orange accents: play of volumes in contemporary architecture

This is a modern multi-apartment complex with an expressive façade solution built on the contrast of materials and forms. The main volume of the building is finished in a neutral gray color, which serves as a background for bright orange modular elements. These box-like structures, resembling pulled-out drawers, create a dynamic play of volumes and shadows on the façade.

The distinctive feature of the project lies in the unconventional placement of window and balcony units – they are organized in a rhythmic yet asymmetrical composition. Each orange module has its own glazing and serves as an accent element, forming a three-dimensional façade with deep recesses and protrusions. This solution not only visually breaks up the massiveness of the building but also gives each apartment individuality.

The ground floor is designed more neutrally, with a predominance of glass surfaces and gray concrete, creating the effect of a "floating" upper part of the building. The landscaping is executed minimally, with small stone elements of landscape design.

For a private home, similar techniques can be adapted in the form of contrasting color solutions for individual façade elements, creating protruding volumes around windows or in the entrance area. Even on a small private house, playing with volumetric elements and contrasting materials can give the architecture dynamism and a contemporary look.

We develop facade projects for country houses.
