#9498. Two-level open-plan space: harmony of classic and contemporary design

The presented interior showcases an excellent example of modern country house design with an open floor plan that skillfully combines classic architectural elements with contemporary aesthetics. The space is organized around a two-level volume, where high ceilings and large arched windows provide abundant natural light, creating a sense of spaciousness and airiness.

The interior gains particular expressiveness through the contrast of white walls with carefully selected accents: a dark blue sofa, a black chest of drawers, and wooden furniture in warm tones. The designer skillfully utilized the vertical space, placing paintings and graphics of various sizes on the walls, creating a dynamic composition and giving the room individuality.

Functional zoning is achieved without using partitions: the dining area with a wooden table and stylish chairs smoothly transitions into a living room with a soft sofa, and further into an open kitchen with a breakfast bar. The light-colored floor visually expands the space, while textile elements – carpet, pillows, throws – add coziness.

Noteworthy is the stylish arch leading to the staircase to the second level, which echoes the arched windows and creates architectural integrity. This technique can be used in your own home to create visual connections between different interior elements. Thoughtful lighting using both recessed ceiling fixtures and decorative floor and wall lamps provides the ability to change the atmosphere depending on the time of day and mood.
