Modern Scandinavian interior with double-height space and natural materials

#7173. Modern Scandinavian interior with double-height space and natural materials

The modern interior of this country house is a magnificent example of Scandinavian minimalism with chalet elements. The double-height living room creates a sense of spaciousness and freedom, while the open floor plan connects functional areas into a unified composition. The design is based on natural materials – wooden wall and ceiling cladding in muted gray tones, which adds coziness and warmth to the space.

The stone fireplace facade, made of irregularly shaped natural stone, deserves special attention. This element not only serves as a functional center of the interior but also adds textural contrast to the wooden surfaces. Tall windows maximize natural light penetration and create a visual connection with the surrounding landscape, which is a characteristic feature of Scandinavian country house facade design, where interaction with nature plays a key role.

The interior color palette is maintained in calm gray shades with black accent elements, creating a restrained and elegant atmosphere. The furniture is selected in accordance with the overall style: comfortable sofas with textile upholstery, a glass coffee table with chrome legs, and a modern audio-video system. The original chandelier installation under the ceiling is also noteworthy, resembling an abstract sculpture and adding an artistic accent to the space.

The double-height ceiling and mezzanine floor with wooden railings enhance the sense of volume and airiness of the room. The minimalist designed staircase blends organically into the overall concept. To create a similar interior in your own home, it is recommended to use unified finishes for walls and ceiling, choose furniture with simple geometric shapes, and not be afraid to combine different textures – wood, stone, glass, and textiles.
