Modern Dark-Toned Bathroom: Minimalism with an Ethnic Accent

#2961. Modern Dark-Toned Bathroom: Minimalism with an Ethnic Accent

The presented bathroom interior embodies a minimalist Nordic style with an emphasis on the contrasting combination of dark and light surfaces. The space is designed in restrained tones – the dominant element is dark gray slabs that cover the walls and floor, creating a monolithic texture. This deep background perfectly sets off the snow-white fixtures – a geometrically shaped wall-mounted sink and a built-in bathtub with clean lines.

Of particular note is the ceiling with its slanted shape, emphasizing the architectural individuality of the room. The modern design is enriched with an ethnic accent – a decorative skull with horns, which adds character and an unexpected contrast to the sterile environment. This technique can be noted when designing a country house interior, where eclectic elements add individuality to minimalist spaces.

The functionality of the space is ensured by a chrome towel warmer with a white towel hanging, creating a compositional balance with the white bathroom fixtures. Natural light enters through a window with horizontal blinds in a wooden frame, creating soft diffused light. The wide windowsill serves as an additional functional surface. A small white rug completes the composition, adding a tactile contrast to the cold tiles and providing comfort.

We develop facade projects for country houses.
